Fence Installation in Northwest Florida

Fence Installation · Northwest Florida

We Clear the Line, Then We Build the Fence

Fence installation around Milton, Pace, Pensacola and across Northwest Florida usually comes with a problem the fence company doesn't want: the line itself. Property boundaries here disappear into brush, briars and volunteer trees in a couple of seasons, and you can't stretch wire through a thicket. That's our advantage — Clearview clears land for a living. We mulch the fence line open, grind the stumps out of the run, then set the posts and string the fence, one crew start to finish.

The fencing itself is farm and property work: field fence and wire runs on wood posts, braced corners, gates hung where you actually use them. Fencing runs deep in the family — it's the trade Jarred grew up around before land clearing took over — and it shows in the details: straight runs, tight wire, corners that don't lean after the first wet season. Tell us what the fence needs to do — livestock, boundary, road frontage — and we'll spec it for that job.

The Fence Line Comes First

A fence is only as good as the line it runs on. Around here, an unmaintained boundary turns into a hedge of titi, smilax and scrub oak with the old wire rusting somewhere inside it. Before a single post goes in, we open that line up — mulch the brush, pull the old wire, take out the trees growing through the run, and grind the stumps so the new fence goes in straight instead of zigzagging around obstacles.

Doing both halves with one crew isn't just convenient, it changes the result. The cleared corridor gives the fence room to be built right and room to be maintained after — you can bush-hog beside it instead of watching the woods eat it again. If the whole property line needs finding first, we'll open sight lines corner to corner so you can see exactly what you own.

Built for Livestock, Boundaries and Florida Weather

Farm fence in the Panhandle works hard: livestock leaning on it, sandy soil that wants to let posts wander, growing season that never really stops, and the occasional tropical storm testing every corner. We build for that — posts set deep and solid, corner and end assemblies braced properly, wire stretched tight enough to stay tight. The bracing is where fences live or die, so it's where we spend the time.

Field fence for cattle and general livestock, barbed runs, wood-post boundary fence along the road — the working styles this part of Florida actually uses. If you're not sure what type fits, describe the job at the estimate: what's staying in, what's staying out, and how long you want to not think about it again.

Replace It, Extend It, or Start From Nothing

Plenty of fence work here is replacement — a line the previous owner let go, storm damage that flattened a run, or wire so old it's more rust than fence. We tear out the old material, fix the line, and build new. Extensions and cross-fencing for rotating pasture are the same work at smaller scale.

Starting from raw land? That's the full package: clear the corridor, cut the line of sight, build the fence, hang the gates — and if the property needs a proper entrance, a driveway and culvert to drive through it. One estimate covers the whole picture. Call for a free look at your lines.

How much does fence installation cost?
Priced by the run: total footage, fence type, how many corners and gates, and how much clearing the line needs first. We walk the line with you, measure it real, and give you a free written estimate. Lines that need heavy clearing cost more than clean ones — and we do both parts, so it's still one number.
My fence line is completely grown over. Is that a problem?
It's our specialty. Most fence outfits want a clean line handed to them; we bring the mulcher and make one. Brush cleared, old wire out, stumps ground, then the new fence goes up. That's the whole reason to hire a land clearing crew that builds fence.
What kind of fencing do you install?
Working farm and property fence: field fence, wire runs, wood posts, braced corners, gates. If you've got something specific in mind, tell us at the estimate — if it's outside what we build well, we'll say so straight instead of learning on your dime.
Will the posts hold in sandy soil?
Set right, yes. Sandy Panhandle soil punishes shallow, lazy post-setting — which is why depth and solid corner bracing are non-negotiable on our runs. The corners carry the tension of the whole fence, so that's where the work goes.
Do you repair storm-damaged fence?
Yes — downed runs, leaning corners, trees on the wire. We handle the tree, clear the line and rebuild the run. After a storm rolls through, call (850) 910-2447 and we'll get your boundary put back together.
